Terms and Conditions of Participation

in Girls Future Ready Foundation Programs

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in all programs and events organized by the Girls Future Ready Foundation (“Organizer”), including but not limited to:

  • Girls Future Ready Summit
  • HerStory Mentorship Program
  • HerStory Masterclass
  • Youth Advisory Board
  • Girls Global Ready

§1. General Provisions

  1. These Terms ensure safety, comfort, and legal compliance for GFR programs and events.
  2. Participation constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
  3. All programs comply with Polish law and relevant institutional policies.

§2. Eligibility and Registration

  1. Open to individuals who:
    • Register via official form
    • Receive a personal invitation
  2. Open to individuals identifying as women, aged 14–25 (unless otherwise specified).
  3. Main beneficiaries: young women from CEE countries (e.g., Poland, Romania, Estonia).
  4. Minors require parental/legal guardian consent.
  5. The Organizer may verify identity during registration or entry.
  6. Participation is subject to space availability or merit-based selection.
  7. Dress code (e.g. business casual) applies where specified.

§3. Code of Conduct

  1. Participants must:
    • Follow venue rules
    • Follow staff and security instructions
    • Behave respectfully
  2. Prohibited items include:
    • Weapons or dangerous objects
    • Alcohol or drugs
    • Pyrotechnics or banned items
  3. Disruptive behavior may lead to removal without re-entry.
  4. Participation is at one’s own risk.
  5. The Organizer is not liable for lost/stolen items.
  6. Damages from misconduct may be subject to compensation claims.

§4. Media and Image Rights

  1. Events may be recorded or photographed for GFR use.
  2. By participating, attendees grant the Organizer rights to use images/audio/video for:
    • Impact reports
    • Web/social media content
    • Promotional materials
  3. Participants must notify the event team in advance to opt out of recording.

§5. Data Protection and Communication

  2. Data is processed per GDPR and Polish laws for:
    • Registration and logistics
    • Event-related communication

  5. Data may be shared with partners when essential and lawful.
  6. Participants have rights to:
    • Access or update data
    • Restrict or delete data
    • Object to processing
    • Withdraw consent
    • Complain to UODO (Polish Data Protection Authority)

§6. Program Modifications or Cancellations

  1. Organizer may alter or cancel events due to force majeure (e.g., disasters, health risks).
  2. Updates will be communicated via the website or to registered participants.

§7. Final Provisions

  1. Unregulated matters follow Polish law.
